Exercise is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. That’s why we offer personal training for adults, active older adultsteens and kids. Let our certified personal trainers help you achieve your fitness goals through a program customized for you. They’ll encourage and motivate you as you make steady progress.

FitCommit One-on-One Personal Training Program (Ages 10 years and above)
FitCommit is a simple, easy way to pay monthly for personal training sessions to help keep you on track with your fitness goals.  To participate, you must be a Somerset Hills YMCA member, select 2, 4, 8, or 12 monthly sessions with a personal trainer and pre-pay each month.

  • SAQ 45 (Ages 13 years to 18 years)

    Speed, Agility, quickness HIIT training to increase performance on the field, court or in the pool, as well as coordination, balance, speed and agility.

  • Small Group Weight & Strength Training (Ages 13 years to 17 years)

    Small group training for teens 13-17 who want to develop strength and proper techniques for weight lifting. This 45 minute class will focus on proper form, building muscular strength and development along with a variety of ways to reach your fitness goals.

    Conditioning and running training by a certified coach, customized for teenagers to improve their running skills. Members only. 

  • Learn to Lift: Compound Exercise (Ages 18 years and above)

    Train with a group for 8 weeks and receive the benefits of personalized fitness in a small group at an affordable price. For Y members. Registration open at the Welcome Center desk. Minimum 3 participants, maximum 5.

  • 60 Minute Sessions
    Cost: 8 weeks - $160 (per person)
  • 30 Minute Sessions
    Cost: 8 weeks - $80 (per person)
