Exercise is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one person may not work for another. That’s why we offer personal training for adults, active older adultsteens and kids. Let our certified personal trainers help you achieve your fitness goals through a program customized for you. They’ll encourage and motivate you as you make steady progress.

Nutrition for Adults

Define your personal nutrition and wellness goals and we'll help you achieve them. Following a comprehensive assessment, our registered dietitian/nutritionist will suggest a personalized plan with behavioral strategies. Written dietary guidelines and materials will help track your progress.

  • Nutrition Workshop (Ages 14 and above)

    Looking to lose weight but feeling frustrated and stuck in a rut? Join us for eight specialized 1-hour Nutrition workshops in a supportive small group setting. This workshop emphasizes the importance of healthy eating, hydration and sugar detox. Benefits include: Recognize and replace unhealthy daily habits with better for you choices that can be a catalyst for weight loss and renewed energy levels. Lower your risk and/or prevent chronic disease; such as, pre-diabetes and diabetes, through improved nutrition and sustainable healthy habits. Individualized nutrition instruction and walk away with customized tips for maintaining positive changes in busy daily lives.

  • Healthy Habits Jumpstart Program (Ages 14 and above)

    Have you packed on unwanted pounds over the holidays? Keep last year's health habits in the past and ring in 2019 the healthy way! January is the perfect time to get into shape, starting with our new Four Weeks to Healthier Habits Diet Jumpstart program, hosted by our staff nutritionist, Susan Greeley, M.S., R.D.

FitCommit is a simple, easy way to pay monthly for personal training sessions to help keep you on track with your fitness goals.  To participate, you must be a Somerset Hills YMCA member, select 2, 4, 8, or 12 monthly sessions with a personal trainer and pre-pay each month.
