The Role of the Trusted Adult
Teens who suffer from depression or sadness may feel that suicide is their only option, but nothing can be further from the truth. Join us for an important presentation, the Role of the Trusted Adult, and learn what you can do to help teens at risk for suicide.
Presented by the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide in partnership with local youth serving organizations.
Topics to be discussed include:
• Examining personal feelings and attitudes about suicide
• Reviewing the definition of the crisis of suicide and warning signs/risk factors
• Learning how to foster protective factors
• Identifying what it means to be a trusted adult
The presentation is made possible through grant funding from Provident Bank.
Tuesday, May 28; 7 p.m.
