Swim Lessons for Teens

At the Y, teens can learn to swim or improve their swimming skills in classes designed just for them. Y swim lessons are participant-centered and emphasize learning, not passing or failing. Swim lessons are tailored to age, ability, level of physical development and confidence in the water.

Experienced instructors offer group and private swim lessons for all ages and abilities at Bridgewater, Hillsborough, Somerset Hills and Somerville YMCAs. Swim lessons are offered year-round. You will find an online registration button with each class description below. You can also visit our new Swim Program section to look at our complete swim curriculum and for helpful swim lesson selector tools.
