Gymnastics for Kids

At the Y, we believe that building confidence in children is very important. Through gymnastics, we help to foster self-esteem and stress the importance of our core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Your little one can progress from parent/child tumbling all the way to our competitive Boys and Girls Gymnastics teams at Somerville YMCA. Gymnasts will learn and refine techniques and skills, as well as build confidence and exercise self-expression. We're proud to say, 14 gymnasts completed this season by qualifying to compete at nationals.

At Somerset Hills YMCA, we emphasize teaching entry level gymnastics to get kids off on the right foot. We've invested in age-appropriate equipment to bring the program to new heights.

Somerville YMCA teaches children through the age of 18, developing gymnasts through proper learning progressions as well as teaching correct form and technique. Our goal is fostering self-confidence as gymnasts refine their skills. Children who love gymnastics can try out for our competitive team.
